Why This Exists

I've been in the fueling equipment installation and repair industry my entire life — starting when I was 13. My father started his company working on 7-Eleven gas dispensers after his boss was killed in a vehicle accident. I was in 3rd grade. He was adamant about my brother and I working at a young age. We completed our first aboveground tank install the summer before 7th grade.

I created this tool because I know how frustrating it is to sit down with a stack of downloaded PDFs without knowing exactly what to focus on. I have personally taken the MDE certification exam 5 or 6 times and am intimately familiar with what's on it. I was both an MDE Certified Inspector and Technician. I personally went through every source document and made sure that what is actually on the exam is in this tool.

This would have saved me a lot of time and money — including the couple of times I failed. I know we would have much rather purchased a subscription to this than paid $450–$800 for a 2 or 3 day course that doesn't even give you the actual questions and answers.
